bru'HaSma, is the daughter of q’eHrl of the House of ruvSon, and S’leH of the House of rhoS. q’eHrl was from Qo'noS and served as second officer of the IKV mIr pogh ro’. Lady S’leH was from mHIS’vI, an agricultural planet located on the outskirts of the Klingon Empire.

When the mIr pogh ro’ was damaged in battle, it landed on mHIS’vI to make repairs. The ship landed in a provice controlled by the House of rhoS, and Lady S’leH, as head of the House of rhoS, welcomed the crew as honored guests. Second Officer q’eHrl had been badly burned and had lost an eye in battle. He and several other injured crew members were left behind when the mIr pogh ro’ returned to space. About a year later, bru’HaSma was born.

bru’HaSma was the first Klingon from mHIS’vI to graduate from the Klingon Academy. She was assigned as a junior officer aboard the IKV HoS tam. Eventually she rose through the ranks by serving as a Communications Specialist, Second Officer, First Officer, and eventually Captain. The Council took note of the HoS tam’s many victories and awarded its captain with a seat on the Council. After years of faithful service, bru’HaSma was promoted to the rank of Fleet Admiral and became Chief of Staff of the Klingon Armada.

The Fleet Admiral is a widow. Little information is available on her spouse, except that he perished during the invasion of the Tribble Home World. Her daughter terSa is a medic on one of the outer planets, and her son Lieutenant bru-jah now serves with Kahless in The Black Fleet.
